 About STAR Enhancement Team:

 The STAR Enhancement Team is an invitation only program , led by coaches Skyanne   Tilloston and Susan Scott.

 The Orillia FSC Enhancement Team is designed to provide motivated skaters with   additional training opportunities, specialized coaching and the support needed to   continue progressing through the STAR program and beyond.  

 All skaters (Orillia Club skaters and Out of Town skaters) will receive invitation via   email. 

 Program Details:

 On-Ice Location: Rotary Place Arena 
 Off-Ice Location: Orillia Sports Medicine or Orillia Ballet
 Day: Saturdays
 On-Ice Session Time: 7:00am - 8:50am
 Off-Ice Session Time: 9:30am - 10:30am
 Program Cost:
$1020.00 
   ***NEW THIS SEASON - all coaching fees are included in registration fees***
 Team Jacket (Mandatory): $60.00
 Additional Skate Ontario Lottery Ticket Booklet (Mandatory): $40.00

 Start Date: Saturday September 19th
 Last Session: Saturday March 6th 

Program Requirements:

To maintain a place on the STAR Enhancement Team, skaters are expected to:

     *  Hold a full-time membership with the Orillia Figure Skating and skate a minimum            of 3 days per week on club ice.
     *  Out-of-town skaters must provide proof of full-time registration with their home club.
     *  Participate in the team's mandatory fundraising initiative.
     *  All parents are required to volunteer by takings turns playing music during on-ice
        sessions in a rotation and supervising one off-ice training session
     *  Compete in a minimum of two qualifying competitions during the Fall/Winter          
        season. Eligible competitions include Star 1-4, Skate Ontario Provincial Series, or 
        Sectional Series competitions.
     *  All Star 5 and higher skaters must register for Skate Ontario Provincial Series or
        Sectional Series competitions.
     *  Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to improving 
        skating skills.
     *  Wear appropriate skating attire at all times. Hoodies and hats are not permitted 
         during training.
     *  Participate in all scheduled off-ice conditioning sessions.
     *  Attend regularly and arrive on time. If a skater will be absent, advanced notice is
        required whenever possible. 
     *  Show respect for coaches, fellow skaters, and the training environment.
         Unsportsmanlike behaviour or poor attitude may results in removal from the 
         session.
