STARSkate
Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition – this is what STARSkate is all about!
STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Skaters can opt to take Skate Canada tests through a nationally standardized testing system.

**Skaters MUST sign up for 3 DAYS OF SKATING to be eligible to register for Star Enhancement Team (Invitation Only)**
Please note that our current red zone Return to Skate protocols mandate a maximum of 10 skaters + 2 coaches on the ice per Star Skate session; all skating is cancelled in a gray zone or lockdown designation.
Bronze STARSkate
- Skaters must have passed Stage 6 of the CanSkate program
- minimum 2 skating days per week
Silver STARSkate
- Skaters must have passed Star 5 Skills and Star 5 Dances
- minimum 2 skating days per week
Gold STARSkate
- Skaters must have passed Star 5 Freeskate, Jr. Silver Dances & Jr. Silver Skills
- a No Skills OR No Dance option is available for select skaters
- minimum 2 skating days per week
